Overview

Partially Hydrolyzed Guar Gum (PHGG) is a unique soluble, prebiotic fiber derived from the guar bean. Unlike regular guar gum, which is very thick, PHGG is treated with enzymes that break it down into smaller units. This allows it to dissolve completely in water without becoming thick or gritty. It is exceptionally well-tolerated and has been shown to improve both constipation and diarrhea. As a prebiotic, it is fermented slowly in the colon, producing minimal gas and bloating, and is even suitable for many people with IBS and SIBO.

Key Benefits

Improves Constipation

Softens stool and promotes regularity without causing urgency.

Helps with Diarrhea

Absorbs excess water in the colon to help firm up loose stools.

SIBO-Friendly Prebiotic

It is fermented slowly, making it one of the few prebiotics often recommended for people with SIBO to help restore regularity.
